Gina received her BA in Theatre Education at The State University of New York at Potsdam (NYS Certified, Theatre k-12) and began working in education and educational theatre in her early 20's. She has directed over 25 plays, musicals, cabarets, play festivals, and variety shows for children and young adults around New York State. She has worked with a handful of theatre companies in Long Island, Westchester, and New York City, providing acting/performance centered workshops and weekly technique classes. She served as director/theatre advisor for Harborfields High School in Greenlawn, NY and worked on numerous projects with The Westchester Sandbox Theatre. Her productions have won local awards, and helped foster creatively safe environments for young artists to call home. In 2016 she began her appointment as the head of the theatre department for Maxine Greene High School of Imaginative Inquiry in New York City, a school partnered with Lincoln Center Education. During her time with the NYCDOE she was an Arthur Miller Foundation fellow, and devised a theatre curriculum for an at-risk student population.

Gina has also worked in Casting and talent management for companies such as Stewart/Whitley, Soffer/Namoff, and Vicky Thomas Casting.
